Today marks the anniversary of the music and film legend Barbara Streisand. We do not want and will not believe that this charming and attractive blonde turns 70, but congratulate on a holiday.
Barbara Joan Streisand was born on April 24, 1942, in Brooklyn. The actress was pretty difficult childhood: Streisand, schoolteacher Father Emmanuel Streisand, died when she was only a year, after which the family is on the verge of poverty. Then Barbara had a relationship with her stepfather, who brutally treated and even beat.
Since childhood, Barbara Streisand, having received the title of "man of the year", has been a vocal and dreamed of becoming a singer. The mother of future stardom did not support her in this endeavour, she felt her daughter is not sufficiently attractive for show business. However, young Streisand continued to participate in competitions and sing in clubs. In 1961, she first appeared on television, where it was invited, remarking on the stage of one of the gay bars. And next year debut of Barbara Streisand on Broadway in the musical "I shop for you wholesale", made her famous.
Married Barbara Streisand, appeared in the magazine Elle US, was twice: from 1963 to 1971 year her husband was actor Elliott Gould, from which the singer gave birth to a son Jason, and on 1 July 1998, she married actor James Brolina, with whom he lives so far.
